Skincare for the ages
Teen Skin
Teen skin can be a bit tricky, as it often goes through changes due to hormonal shifts. Here are some common traits of teen skin and tips for care:
Oily Skin: Teenagers often experience increased oil production due to puberty. This can lead to shininess, clogged pores, and breakouts.
Tip: Use our gentle foam cleanser formulated for oily skin, and a lightweightnon-comedogenic moisturizer.
Acne: Acne is one of the most common skin issues for teens. Hormones can trigger the overproduction of sebum (skin oil), which can clog pores and lead to pimples, blackheads, or cystic acne.
Tip: Use our products with salicylic acid to treat acne. If it's severe, consider consulting a dermatologist.
Sensitive Skin: Hormonal fluctuations can also make teen skin more sensitive, leading to irritation or redness.
Tip: Look for fragrance-free, soothing skincare products and avoid harsh scrubbing.
Dryness: While oiliness is common, some teens may experience dry patches or areas of flaky skin, especially in colder months.
Tip: Use a hydrating cleanser and make sure to moisturize regularly.
Sun Protection: Teenagers often neglect sunscreen, which can lead to premature aging or increased risk of skin damage
Tip: Apply our mineral 30SPF daily to protect against both UVA and UVB rays

20yrs + Skin
From 20yrs+ your skincare routine is about maintaining a healthy complexion, preventing future damage, and addressing any specific skin concerns like oiliness, acne, or dryness. Here’s a simple, effective skincare routine for someone 20yrs +
Cleanser (AM & PM)
Use a gentle, hydrating cleanser to remove dirt, oil, and makeup. Choose one suited for your skin type (gel or foam cleansers for oily skin, cream or milky cleansers for dry skin).
For oily skin: Gel-based, salicylic acid cleansers.
For dry skin: Cream-based, hydrating cleansers.
Toner (Optional, AM & PM)
Helps balance your skin's pH and remove any leftover residue after cleansing.
For oily skin: A toner with ingredients like witch hazel or tea tree oil.
For dry skin: Alcohol-free, hydrating toners with ingredients like rose water or glycerin.
Serum (AM & PM)
Targeted treatment for specific skin concerns.
For acne-prone skin: Look for serums with salicylic acid or niacinamide.
For brightening and anti-aging: Vitamin C, natural retinol and botox serums are great for reducing pigmentation and protecting the skin.
Moisturizer (AM & PM)
Hydrates and locks in moisture.
For oily skin: Use a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer.
For dry skin: Go for a thicker, richer cream or gel moisturizer.
Sunscreen (AM)
Always wear mineral SPF 30 or higher every day, even on cloudy days or indoors near windows.
Look for broad-spectrum mineral (UVA and UVB) protection.
Spot Treatment (PM)
If you experience breakouts, a targeted spot treatment with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid can help.
Optional Add-ons:
- Exfoliation (1-2x a week): Chemical exfoliants like AHAs (glycolic acid) or BHAs (salicylic acid) are gentle ways to remove dead skin cells and keep pores clear.
- Face Masks (Weekly): Clay masks for oily skin or hydrating masks for dry skin.
Extra Tips:
- Stay hydrated, eat a balanced diet rich in antioxidants, and get plenty of sleep.
- Avoid over-exfoliating or using too many harsh products, as this can irritate your skin.
40+ yrs skin
When it comes to skincare for people over 40, the focus typically shifts to maintaining skin health, preventing or reducing signs of aging, and addressing any specific skin concerns that become more prominent with age (such as dryness, fine lines, and changes in skin texture).
Here are some key skincare tips for individuals 40+:
Hydration is Key
As you age, your skin’s ability to retain moisture diminishes, so it’s crucial to keep the skin hydrated. Use hydrating serums and moisturizers with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, glycerin, or squalane.
Antioxidants
Antioxidants help protect your skin from environmental damage and promote collagen production. Look for Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and niacinamide in your products to brighten skin and reduce pigmentation.
Retinoids (Vitamin A) & Peptides
Retinoids are powerful for increasing cell turnover and stimulating collagen production, which helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Start our natural retinol formula.
Exfoliation
Gentle exfoliation helps to remove dead skin cells and promote a fresh, youthful appearance. Choose natural chemical exfoliants like AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) or BHAs (beta-hydroxy acids) instead of physical scrubs to avoid irritating the skin.
SPF
Sunscreen is always essential, especially after 40, when sun damage starts to show more. Use a broad-spectrum mineral sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher daily. This helps prevent further aging, pigmentation, and potential skin cancers.
Firming and Lifting
Our products contain natural ingredients like peptides and collagen to help improve skin firmness and elasticity.
Targeted Eye Care
The skin around the eyes is thinner and more prone to wrinkles. Use our eye cream with natural peptides, caffeine, and retinol to reduce puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines.
Night Care
During the night, your skin repairs itself, so nighttime skincare is crucial. Incorporate a rich moisturizer or night cream with ingredients like natural ceramides, retinol, or vitamin C to work on cell turnover while you sleep.
Diet and Lifestyle
A well-balanced diet, rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and healthy fats, is essential for healthy skin. Hydration from within is just as important as topicals—drink plenty of water! And don’t forget about getting quality sleep and managing stress, as they also affect skin health.
